GAME STORYLINE:

Jimbo the Moodle has escaped from home, after seeing Chester the cat. The Robson family soon realises that Jimbo has escaped and begins to search for their beloved dog. Players work individually, one taking on the role of the dog and others becoming the family members.

AIM OF THE GAME:

There are two aims for the game, depending if you are the dog or a family member. The dog’s aim is to run away from the family by placing tiles down. The family’s aim is to place tiles down in order to chase the dog. Once a family member lands on the same tile as the dog, they win. The family members can choose to either work together or become the ultimate family member by finding the dog first.

  1. The game needs at least 2 players, and can have up to 5 players all together.
  2. One player takes on the role of the dog and the others play as the family members; Susan, Dan, Amy and Tim. Choose your meeple.

3. Place the Dog on the ‘DOG START HERE’ square at the top left corner. Then place the family members on the ‘FAMILY START HERE’ square at the bottom right corner.

4. The dog starts first. On the first you must pick up a street card. Place down the card on an empty square, connecting to the ‘DOG START HERE’ tile.

5. The youngest player out of the family members, goes next. Pick up a street card and connect it to their ‘START HERE’ square, not the dogs. You can only connect the street cards to ones connected to your ‘START HERE’ square.

6. Once each player has had one turn, players can choose either to pick up a street card (to build the street) or a movement card (various moves that can alter gameplay). After this is complete, only the dog can move their Meeple to another square.

7. When it is the family members turns, they have to choose to either pick up a street card, movement card or move their Meeple. They can not pick up a street card and move their Meeple, like the dog can.

8. You can decide to hold on to your movement card if you do not wish to play it during that current turn.

9. If during a turn, you make a dead end, or the streets do not connect, you can place a street card over the top of an existing street card already on the board.

10. Once a family member has landed on the same square as the Dog, they have won.
